Member Meg Lillie presented the club with an opportunity to reach out to others in our communities to provide support during these challenging times.  She asked the Juniors to write cards for the residents of the Virginia Highlands Health Care Facility.  

Many of these people have been without physical visits from families or friends since March (or just see their family through a window).  Meg has seen first-hand that notes that let residents know that someone is thinking of them and cares about them can make their day.

I’m happy to report that the Juniors met this challenge and wrote notes for every resident at Virginia Highlands!  Thank you to our members for participating in this worthwhile activity.
