Club Presents 2022 Contributions at May Village Board Meeting
GFWC-Brown Deer Junior Woman's Club distributes contributions to Park & Recreation, North Shore Fire and Brown Deer Police Departments at May 16th Village Board Meeting.
At the May 16, 2022, Brown Deer Village Board Meeting, the GFWC-Brown Deer Junior Woman's Club distributed 2022 contributions to three Village departments. Contributions were accepted by Danielle Gross for the Park & Recreation Department to support the 4th of July fireworks. Fire Chief Robert C. Whitaker received the contribution for the North Shore Fire Department to refill child PED bags. The Club presented the Brown Deer Police Department's contribution to Police Chief Peter Nimmer to provide wheel locks for residents in need.
The Club also distributed 2022 contributions at the May 24th School Board meeting. Contributions went to the high school and the elementary school in addition to the Education Foundation for scholarships.
Making the presentations for the club were President Danielle Schmitz and Treasurer Carolyn Mitchell.
The Club is proud of their efforts to give back to our home town. For decades, BDJWC has consistently given back between $5,000 and $10,000 per year to the Brown Deer community.
