We are proud to announce that the Brown Deer Junior Woman's Club received numerous GFWC-Wisconsin 2020 Awards at the May 2021 GFWC-WI State Convention, including:

• Civic Engagement and Outreach – Best Overall: K-9 Retirement; Soles for Jesus; Rummage Redux; Bags, More Bags; Pop-Tops; donations; What’s Next: Explored new "hands on" community projects for 2021-22 

• Education and Libraries – Single Best Project: Youth Writing Project

• Health and Wellness – Single Best Project: Brightening Someone’s Day Project

• Communications and Public Relations – Best Overall: 12 projects

• Leadership – Single Best Project: Leadership in Member Recognition

• Membership – Best Overall: 9 projects

• Newsletter Communications and Public Relations - Best Overall

• Health Scholarship Winner: Two individuals were sponsored by the Club; Kellyn Epping was winner

• Epsilon Sigma Omicron (Book Club) – Best Single Club

• Epsilon Sigma Omicron Club with most new pledges

• Epsilon Sigma Omicron Individual Award Certificate: 4 Club members

It is probably safe to say that 2020 was one of the best years ever for BDJWC and receiving awards.  It is great to once again be recognized for doing the work we love for the benefit of the Brown Deer Community!
